What makes Write! different as a text editor
Distractions are probably the biggest enemy of writing. Many of us sit down to write, only to remember to check our email. Then, a quick look on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc. Before we know it, we end up watching YouTube videos about giraffe mating at 2:00 am.
Write! is designed to be a simple, lightweight, powerful text editor, and most of all, distraction free. By default, with Write! maximized, we can't even see the Windows taskbar or the clock.
Moving the cursor towards the top will show the menu button and the tabs for any different documents we might have simultaneously open.
There is a presets bar, accessible through the View menu...
...that makes it easier to apply different text formats to the entire document.
Most importantly, if we enjoy working at night, Write! Pro includes a dark theme with white letters that gets rid of the potentially tiring whiteness of the screen.

Write! has an auto-complete feature, which makes suggestions based on the words we have already typed, and can save us considerable time.
Last but not least, by clicking on the "Tweet" icon, we will get statistics on our productivity, including the words per day and the characters we type per minute. We can also set our limits for words, symbols or reading time.
Selecting each of the icons will make suggestions about the average length we should aim for.

In the future, Write! will have a free "Write! Lite" and a paid "Write! Pro" version, which will cost $4.99/month or $49,99/year.
Write! Pro includes the dark theme, the presets, multiple sessions, automatic saves to the cloud and the unlimited ability to "undo" our actions with Ctrl+Z.
For the time being, though, Write! has an "Early adopter" program, and we can join with a Pro account for free, and without giving a credit card or any payment info.
This account will be free for at least November 5th, 2015, and will remain free until all early adopters can bulk-export their written work from the cloud.
